For those to whom the SpaMitzvah name is unfamiliar, SpaMitzvah (pronounced spa-mits-vuh) is a derivative of the word: MITZVAH, which means "a good deed" in Hebrew. The term mitzvah is also used to communicate an act of human kindness. And, in its most austere and literal translation, a mitzvah is a commandment or divine act. Hence, our definition of a SpaMitzvah encompasses all of the aforesaid and is meant to convey a divine act of pampering one’s self -- which we consider to be a “good deed” and a sincere act of human kindness.
SpaMitzvah celebrates our belief that the human body is a sacred temple, which houses our precious spirit. And, just as the upkeep, cleanliness and beautification of one’s home is a reflection of a person’s true self, at SpaMitzvah we believe that the upkeep and beautification of our body is a reflection and unspoken testament of how we feel inside.
